I like to give my kids something to do like chores to keep them in line...are you giving them any and what chores are your kids responsible for?

My son is almost 3 and we have him give the cat food and water each day, help clean his room and help with the laundry small things ofcourse. It's not a lot but we want to make sure that when it comes time for him to really help out with actual chores like taking out the trash regularly or something, responsibility is not a new concept

My 7 years son. We expect him to keep his stuff tidy. Next winter I am buying him a small shovel to learn help me shovel the snow. He also helps my wife in the kitchen, stirring the pot etc

For me, my son has just become a teenager - need I say more?!?! He is hard to get to help around the house, but he does after being nagged over and over.
For my younger daughter, I have no problem with her just automatically helping me out.
